Inspired by the Japanese Shinto Kumi-ki puzzles, the David Weeks's Cubebot is a non-traditional take on the toy robot that joins ancient Japanese traditions with contemporary toy culture.

The sturdy hardwood frame holds many poses, and elastic-band muscles and durable wood limbs make him impervious to breakage. At play, Cubebot measures 9.5" tall with 13.5" arm span; when it's time to rest, he folds into a perfect cube that measures 3.5" x 3.5".
