Biography
PUSH was born in Taiwan Hsinchu in 1962 and has been in the business of production of comic books and strips and observation of street fashions. Some of his early works such as "Nine Lives Man" and "Promise Island" have opened up a new horizon for Taiwanese comics. Recently, he started diversity of creations, such as toy designs, making notes of obervation in his travels and producing iconographic advertisements for brand names like Sony, Nike, Epson, Adidas, and Asahi etc., and in several occasions was invited as a judge in competitions of visual arts. Lately, the designer toys that he and fashion magazines have created induced a storm of designer toy collection among grown-ups. PUSH's delicate touches and the extreme European style BD comic arts have cought the eyes of France. In 1995, "Balezo" was the first Taiwanese comic strip that landed on Europe! KAMEHA, one of the famous French comic monthly, published this strip with a bang!
