If a toy is referred to as a UFO Catcher, or a UFO Catcher prize, it is exactly that, from one of the claw-style arcade machines you usually see full of cuddly toys, or more recently, hi-tech gadgets. Toys sold in the designer toy circles as UFO Catcher prizes usually originate from Japan and include popular toys such as Gloomy Bear.
