Biography[edit]
Ellen Schinderman was raised and educated on the mean streets of New York City (okay, the street she was raised on wasn’t that mean, but it was sometimes a bit of a bully). She got a BFA at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and spent her twenties performing comedy in New York and San Francisco. Ellen is an autodidactic artist, who paints and draws with thread. Her interests include, in no particular order: phrenology, carbonara, Masterpiece Mystery, sequins, imported tea, Jazz Vocals of the 40s and 50s, and staying up too late. Ellen Schinderman lives and works in Hollywood, CA.
