SDCC has been running since 1970 with a record number of 125,000 attendees in 2007. Traditionally for comic books, SDCC is now an enormous 4 day show encompassing Cult and Sci-Fi films, tv shows, comic books and of course, designer toys. At each show there will be booths for each show, artist and manufacturer. There will be signing events and lectures from famous, and infamous, celebrities from hit shows and artists. It acts as a platform for many exclusive limited toy launches that are eagerly snapped up by collectors.
