Biography[edit]
Johnny Sampson (b. 1974) is an American artist, illustrator, screen printer, picker and grinner based in Chicago, Illinois. Brought up on a steady diet of MAD Magazine and art history, he has an eye for the absurd and an appreciation for the classics. Comfortable in many styles and techniques from meticulous gouache paintings to bold designs hand-cut from rubylith, his work has been featured in various magazines and books, on album covers, t shirts, gig posters, vegan food products, and brands.
