Todd Cameron

Biography

While studying art at the University of Minnesota, Todd Cameron focused in areas including printmaking, ceramic and metal sculpture, and digital art. Soon after graduation Todd was introduced to glassblowing, and now concentrates most of his energy on creating things out of molten glass. Todd finds that glass is a medium that not only allows him to fuse his many artistic interests, but also continues to challenge him both mentally and physically on a regular basis. "The first time I worked with molten glass, I was overcome by a powerful feeling. The type of feeling I imagine a bird has the first time it spreads its wings and takes flight, or the type of feeling a cat has the first time it catches a bird."
