Biography

plushPLAY is by Brooklyn based artist/designer Mariangela Tan, known for her nostalgic needle felted characters. Creating one of a kind fiber sculptures and handmade collectibles using precise and labor intensive needle felting techniques to express a love of fables, nature, 80’s animation, anime, Sanrio and toys. My work has been exhibited across the US and attracts collectors from all over the world.
