64 Colors is two people, Laura and Eric. Independent spirits who collaborate on illustration, graphic design, character and toy design. Sugar and caffeine keep us moving and working hard to channel our collective thoughts into solutions which keep our clients happy, our house warm and our creative souls filled with joy and happiness.
+
Work in the coarse world began in 2003, when German artists Mark Landwehr and Sven Waschk began developing their unique style of sculpting, which creates the illusion that they have chiseled and exposed their sculptures from three-dimensional rock.

While the underlying stories of the individual pieces vary and express themes of denial, betrayal and lies, the sculptures aim to make an impression on multiple levels. While often looking cute at first glance, a distinct silence, sadness and loneliness simultaneously convey an alternate effect. These subtle and almost shy undertones expose our souls’ vulnerability, which we so often try to conceal.

Within the last 10 years the artists have evolved, gaining international recognition and collectors all over the world. The artists focus primarily on statues that range from small to life-size and are made from resin and/or fiberglass. They are finished as single pieces or in small limitation runs and are entirely crafted by the artists themselves.

Evil was born in 1991, when one of MCA’s favorite entertainers, Pee Wee Herman (Mr. Paul Reubens), was arrested in an adult movie theater. Agitated by the absurd way in which Reubens was demonized by the media, MCA manipulated his mug shot, added devil horns to his head, and sarcastically wrote the word “Evil” beneath it. He printed up T-shirts and stickers with this image and began distributing them in and around Boston: Since then, Evil Design has spread throughout the world.

Charles Rodriguez is a Venezuelan toy designer. Study in the school of graphic arts Cristobal Rojas. Work 11 years as art director and 2 as creative director in Y&R Venezuela. His style includes carving, modeling and of course never put eyes to his creations. Use white and middle tones of colour.

Born and raised in a town better known for its football legacy than the ignored arts program, Tony and Jenn's adventure into the popular art scene occurred thanks in part to a single character affectionately known as Bot. Due to the urging of friends, family, and mentors, from that moment on they have chased a dream that has led their creations to every corner of the world. What makes their art truly unique, as they have to come to realize, is not only the story it tells, but also the two leaders of the robot revolution--Jenn and Tony themselves.

'''[[Yoyo Yeung]]'''<BR>
Raised in the great white north of Canada, on sugar-infested cereal, 80’s music, Peanuts comics, and classic Nintendo games Cameron Tiede has always stayed a kid. In the 90’s, he ventured down to Southern California to thaw out and attend Art Center College of Design where he studied illustration. Cameron’s signature style is infused with raw energetic characters and stimulating colour. Described as “illuminated innocence,” his work is as playful as it is honest. Currently he draws, paints and designs for himself and others. He is working on a number of limited edition art toys which are due out this year. Some of his clients have included Disney, Mattel, Nickelodeon, and Warner Brothers. His work is both exhibited and collected around the world.
+
Yoyo's work was inspired by a trip to the London Natural History Museum, which revealed to her the sheer volume and variety of species that roam our planet. She wants to celebrate these creatures, imagining them all with their own societies and characters, living in a way that is both familiar and different to us.

The development of my art involves constant evolution to new ideas and new forms. Progression and change are what I live for. My art gives me the opportunity to create different situations and environments from the landscapes in my mind. I like to break down and rebuild surfaces using various mixed media. Everything in my life and art intermingle into harmony for me.

I am more than an illustrator. I am a storyteller. My tales are a rich mixture of precious childhood memories and fairy tales. I weave together lines to celebrate the beauty and elegance of nature and human form. And sprinkled within that tapestry are touches of whimsy that bring to mind the wonderment of childhood and play. It is my way of rekindling youth with a wink and infinite mirth. An architect by training, I create works in pen and ink that are filled with intricate detail and influenced by stringent rules of design. The elements I choose often hold symbolic meaning, and I take care to piece them together like a jigsaw puzzle to tell an overall story. I have drawn millions of lines as an artist and have told many stories, from my initial scenes of houses to the Yahoo! Purplescape campaign to more experimental pieces that have won international competitions and garnered gallery exhibitions. But I still feel that I have many more stories to tell and a million more lines to draw.

Andrew Bell was born in England in the late 70's, but has spent most of his life in the USA. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NYC where he has lived and worked for the last 8 years for such notable companies as Marvel Comics and Nickelodeon.

He is largely known for his illustration project entitled 'the Creatures in my Head'. His wildly imaginative monsters have clawed their way out of his website onto t-shirts, prints, books and most recently toys produced by 'Dyzplastic', the toy division of his company 'Dead Zebra, Inc.'
