Biography[edit]
A native of Japan and current Los Angeles resident, Mari considers herself both an artist and storyteller. She is a graduate of Art Center of Design in Pasadena. In her work, she invites the characters to become protagonists in her elegantly crafted imaginary world. Mari’s obsessively intricate and thoughtful approach employs an adventurous palette while allowing her imagination to showcase an ability to balance beauty and a clear narrative.
