Born in Vietnam, she migrated over to Canada in the early 80's.  After majoring in Fine arts, with a minor in Sociolgy at the University of Alberta, she pursued Holistic Medicine at Grant Mac Ewan College.  She now continues to follow her passion of painting and sculpting, while working in the medical field.  Okedoki finds inspiration from every day social and political events.
