Established in 2003 by a group of friends with their ears to the ground and their heads in the clouds BABEKUHL is a boutique creative agency and high-end lifestyle brand with two simple goals: to innovate and inspire.
Initially working in freelance media production, BABEKUHL has since evolved into a fully-fledged creative agency lending its design expertise to clients as diverse and esteemed as Samsung, Ford, Motorola, Westpac Asia, NEC, ASUS, Nokia, SBS, Visa, FHM, FBI Radio, COFA, Bag Raiders, Ballantines and Telstra.
Headed by Billy Ryan, Sam Painter and Patrick Santamaria the multidisciplinary collective offer creative direction and consultancy across a range of mediums including: fashion, graphics, design, photography, web, film and animation. When left to their own devices however, the trio have crafted exclusive ranges of books, bags, apparel and vinyl toys catering to a new breed of lifestyle connoisseur who is as intelligent as they are individual.
From celestial sagas revolving around a cloud named Babu to a self published book of their own idiosyncratic artwork, BABEKUHL’S distinctive aesthetic eschews convention by bridging the gap between street culture and fine art. They will continue to do so as long there is breath in their bodies.
