Biography[edit]
Born and raised in Texas, Tanya Davis chooses to call Austin her home. She received a B.S. in Architecture from Prairie View A&M University, and although Architecture did not become her chosen profession, the lessons she learned continue to strongly influence her attention to detail and form.
Tanya's art has extended into polymer clay sculpting, jewelry crafting, and some photography work. She also creates original and fan art 2D pieces in watercolor pencil, marker and acrylic paints. Steampunk has always been a favored source of inspiration. In 2011 she launched Austin Vintage Creations on Etsy in her first step to bringing her art to the public. Currently she is not active on Etsy having moved her online store to StorEnvy and renamed it Tanya Davis Art. In 2013 Tanya discovered the toy customization scene and has brought her steampunk style to different vinyl platforms such as the KidRobot Munny, Foomi and Trikky and the Google Android.
